Spin the Wheel Spinner is a free wheel spinner. You can spin, save and share wheels without an account. This page says what we store, why, and how to have it removed.

What we store

• Wheels you save: the name, the entries and the settings. A wheel’s name is also part of its address, so its link shows the name. Anyone with a saved wheel’s link can open it, unless its owner has made it private. If you’re signed in, a public wheel’s page lists your other public wheels that could appear in search; turn it off in the wheel’s Settings. Private wheels are never listed.
• Spin results: the winner and time of a saved wheel’s most recent spins (up to 100), so the last winner can be shown.
• Results you share: tapping Share saves that spin’s entries, winner and theme at a link anyone who has it can open. We keep them until you delete one from the browser you shared it from (or your account, if you were signed in), the wheel is deleted, or you write to us with the link.
• If you sign in: your email address, to send you sign-in codes and keep your wheels together.

Wheels on screen in a classroom are seen by everyone in the room, and a saved wheel can be opened by anyone with its link. Use first names or nicknames rather than full names.

Children

Children can spin a wheel without giving us anything. Accounts are meant for adults, such as teachers who want to keep their wheels. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember whether the wheel editor was open and to remember the results you shared. We also use these services to understand how the site is used:

• Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights: page views and page speed, without cookies
• Google Analytics: how visitors find and use the site

Who processes it for us

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Supabase stores wheels and handles sign-in.
• Resend sends the sign-in emails.

We don’t sell your information.

Deleting your data

Signed in, you can delete your account yourself in Settings: the wheels you made yours and their spin results go with it. Or write to hello@spinthewheelspinner.com with the wheel links or the email address you signed in with, and we will delete the wheels, spin results and account.

Deleting your account deletes the results you shared while signed in and the results shared from your wheels; for any other result, delete it from the browser you shared it from or send us its link. A result shared from a wheel embedded on another site can’t be deleted from that site, so write to us with its link. A preview already sent to a chat stays in that chat.
